Last week we celebrated Stella Day, an annual College community day with a focus on fundraising for the Good Samaritan Sisters’ work at Santa Teresa.
The day started with Mass down at St Mary’s in Manly and then upon return an assembly was held where a group of Indigenous girls from Saint Scholastica performed an Indigenous dance. We then had two speakers who discussed with the students the work of the Good Samaritan Sisters, with a focus on their amazing work in Santa Teresa. The day then moved into fun, food and activities for the students with all money raised going to Santa Teresa. At total of $6,300 was raised which is just incredible and will no doubt be well used by the Good Samaritan Sisters. Well done to the team who were involved in putting the day together.
