The Junior Academic Scholarship is open to ALL students who are to commence Year 7 in the next academic year, irrespective of family income.  This three-year scholarship covers either full or half of the tuition fee component of the annual Student Fee from Year 7 to Year 9, and there is an annual review of the student’s commitment.

To be eligible to sit the Junior Academic Scholarship Examination, the expectation is that the candidate is in the top bands in her Year 5 NAPLAN results and performs academically at the top of her class. The Examination is designed to assist teachers in their assessment of students’ learning potential and aptitude and includes a 30 minute handwritten component that will assess writing and comprehension skills.

All candidates, successful or unsuccessful, will be notified in writing.

After you have completed the online Application Form there is no further communication from the College. Candidates are then expected to present themselves at the Scholastica Building on the advertised day of the Examination.
